Ikea hack!

Someone had requested to see a picture of the finished project after we painted DS's new Ikea Kura bed. My mom actually took him away for the weekend on a trip, so we happened to have lots of time to work on it! Hope it he likes it when he comes home tomorrow.

And this is what it looked like before. We won't put him up in the loft for probably another year or two.

Waiting for RE appointment on 10/28/14

Surprise BFP on cycle 12 -- 10/19/14!

    IVF #1 with ICSI & PGS: May/June 2015, ER 6/3/15, 17R/17M/15F
    IVF #2 with ICSI & PGS: July 2015, ER 7/16/15, 16R/11M/9F
    PGS results = 6 normal embryos (4 boys, 2 girls)
    FET 9/23/15 = BFFN
    Natural FET 11/4/15 = BFP!
    Beta 9dp5dt = 92

    @ellebelle2384‌ Yes, the bed can be used low or high just by flipping it around. Someday when we turn it over I'm going to make a reading nook underneath.

    For the record, the "high" position is not that high. It's a junior loft bed and it's a little less than 4 feet tall.

    Love it! I'm starting to plan DD's big girl room now. I have an old window I'm going to make into a headboard, and I've convinced DH to make a tree book shelf :) I love decorating!

    That looks great! I'm sure your DS will flip! We just had a bed made for us by an Amish gentleman who did my friends cabinets in her kitchen. DS is so proud to be in a big boy bed that he doesn't mind going to bed :) Hopefully that lasts for awhile!

    He loves it and keeps asking if he can go see his big boy bed! Slept great in it last night too.
