PP hair loss

in May 2014 Moms
Is anyone else losing gobs of hair?

LO will be 4 months on the 10th... and for about the last two weeks
I've been stopping up my drain on a daily basis and even running my fingers through my hair brings out quite a bit.

Has anything helped with your shedding?

    Oh. My. God. The hair loss!

    I've been meaning to grab some Biotin after reading the suggestions on here but haven't gotten around to it. I'll probably need to grab some Draino while I'm at it! Lol.

    Mine started to fall out about 3 weeks ago (3 mos PP) and now every time I shower it looks like a little rodent in the drain!

    Yup. Lots of hair falls out in the shower and I pulled my hair back to check out my hairline - it was not pretty.

    I catch all my runaways in the shower and stick them to the wall, to collect afterwards. I look like a middle aged man with a receding hairline. It's already half as thick as it was before wedding and DD1, I don't wanna know what it's gunna be like after this.

    I am losing tons of hair too!! I don't remember this happening with my first, but I don't think my vacuum will be keeping up much longer! :-S

    I am losing loads!! My hair is right passed my bum, so Iv got plenty lol! I just hate that hair is all over my house !

    Yes!!! It also just started last 2 or 3 weeks around when DD turned 3 months old. Which seemed late to me so I figured maybe it was more from stress (going back to work). I guess its good to know this timing is common ... though sorry for all of us! STMs who had this before.... does it grow back? Or is sparse hair the new normal?

    Geez I hope it's not the new normal for me. I didn't have thick hair to begin with, now it's just sad looking. At least my hair loss is evenly distributed at this point.

    Yeah, mine is falling out too. It's gross. But i have naturally really thick hair so you can't tell by looking. I have been keeping my hair in a bun or top knot to control the free fall a bit during the day. In the shower I also do the wall collection but pulling all the loose hair off my body and out of my head takes so long in the shower.

    Mine grew back last t ime, but it took a good year and a half. My nails are awful this time though.

    What I'm not losing, he's yanking out. I need to switch to a full time pony tail I guess.
    Me-41, Hubby-40.
    1st BFP-8/17/12!  Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US.  D&C.
    2nd BFP-2/13/13!  Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
    3rd BFP-5/22/13!  By early June, progesterone plummeting.  Another loss.
    August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

    I have long, thick dark hair and it is shedding like CRAZY. I don't understand how I'm not completely bald. I was in a deposition last week and kept fiddling with my hair (bad habit) and I'm pretty sure there was a pile of hair on the floor of their conference room when I was done. Sorry other attorney guy!
