So I have a one year old daughter who was conceived with PGD in a two embryo transfer. Now, we had a FET and used the remaining two embryos. I am currently 5 weeks pregnant. I am not sure of how I am feeling though. Of course we are so excited beyond belief, but it feels as if all the symptoms are so exacerbated than they were with my daughter. I am on the same medication protocols so I don't think it's medicine related. We have our first ultrasound on Thursday but I am really starting to believe this may be twins. Anyone have a similar experience? Already getting nauseous, beyond exhausted, hungry all the time, round ligament pain! The whole shebang! Is it much more prominent because it's multiples or just because it's my second and I recognize the symptoms already?

    Hi and congratulations :-) Morning sickness a few weeks earlier than I experienced with DS1 was my first clue that both of our embryos probably stuck. I started to feel sick just before I was 5 weeks along with my twins (I didn't have any m/s until after 7 weeks with DS1). But, every pregnancy is different, so only your u/s on Thursday will really tell the story for you. Good luck!

    I had a lot more symptoms and a lot earlier with my 2nd pregnancy.  So it could go either way.  Congrats and GL.

    IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    My dd is 18 months and we recently did an FET of two. I had myself convinced it was twins, but there is only one on board. I had nothing other than being tired with dd. this time I am exhausted, hungry, moody, crampy, rlp started really early too. I agree that it could go either way! Good luck!

    I'm currently pg with twins and have a ds. My symptoms were pretty much the same around 7 wks but then my nausea actually was easier with the twins. I did feel more tired but really I attribute that to having to keep up with ds. The first time around I could rest a lot more.

    When I was pregnant with K&A, I had a feeling both embies had implanted for twins. It's hard to explain, but my symptoms started so much earlier and were so much stronger. My betas were also a whole lot higher than they were with DS and the doubling time was quicker too. All that being said, the only way to tell for sure if you are having twins is to have an u/s. H&H 9 months!

    No advice just congrats!!

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    I felt nauseous the night before my bfp. It continued for a few days, went away until about week 7 and hit full force by week 9. So I definitely had some earlier symptoms! Congrats!

    Congrats! I would just say each pregnancy can be so very different with DS I had no m/s or cravings or really any trouble. Just peeing a lot and got tired easy at the beginning and towards the end. With DD I had m/s for a couple months, round ligament pain, cravings and the peeing and tiredness. So who knows!
