Partial Previa Pelvic Rest

I've been on pelvic rest for seven weeks now - Dr. said no lifting over 20 pounds, no excercise, lay whenever possible and of course no sex. DH is out of his mind and wasting away at a hastening pace. We've debated over orgasms (I say no. He says yes) but it wasn't mentioned by our doctor. What has pelvic rest been defined to you as?

    Pelvic rest means no orgasms as they can cause cramping

    I had a partial previa with DD. No orgasms, no sex. Period.

    God forbid you have a bleed, it is incredibly scary. But baby is usually fine, but it will involve a trip to L&D. I don't want to scare you, but I also wish I had been better prepared for what may happen. The doctor said nonchalantly, "Let us know if you have bleeding." So, I envisioned something like my period and didn't give it much thought. Then I had my first bleed at 27 weeks, and thought my water had broken, it was that much blood. I spent three days in the hospital, and had the second bleed in the hospital. I had seven more bleeds during my pregnancy. And yes, seven more trips to labor and delivery. DD was born at 37 weeks, 6 days, after 18 weeks of pelvic rest, and 11 weeks of bedrest.

    Was it hard? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes.

    With my second, I had previa. Yes it was torture to not do anything. I had many sexy dreams and was turning the guys down in them, not because I was married, haha.

    I don't have previa but I have been on pelvic rest since mid may!!! ( almost 4 months!!!!!).  Pelvic rest means no orgasms.  It stinks. My husband has been a trooper but I have been "helping" him out alot.  I am the one who is most frustrated at this point!

    Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    I'm glad to hear my instincts were correct. I've been having more bleeding today - it's pinkish/red but not very much. I'm about 180 miles from the doctor or I'd go see her. :( t & p our little pumpkin is okay.
