three day weekend sunshine!!

What's good?

Its a three day weekend, which means o only have four days on my own with the kids this week. We are going to clean the house as best we can today and try to head into Boston tomorrow to wander and play. C loves open space so we will head for the Commons and go from there. Also, apparently we are going to try and give each other alone time this weekend. So excited.

H tells me I get to sleep in this morning. He offered to wake up for MOTN feeding, but I have to pump anyways. he just told me to wake him up when C is up for the day. I'm so excited! The last time he offered was so long ago.

H slept almost 8 and a half hours straight last night, ate and slept for another hour. Lordy I hope this isn't a fluke. I am also taking LO shopping tomorrow because a new Carter's store just opened and everything is 50% off plus you earn reward dollars for every 40 spent.

today is my cousins twin boys first birthday party! they are such special little guys. their actual birthday is on Wednesday and I can't believe it's already been a year! also the day they were born is the day I got my IUD out to get pregnant which means that it's been a whole year (in a few weeks) since B was made. so many feels!!!

I finally got a check in the mail from my supplemental health insurance which covered what my primary insurance didn't. So we basically made money from having a baby since I'm a teacher and my short term disability still covers my mat leave even though I was off for the summer during that time.

We found a new apartment and are moving out of our one-bedroom in two weeks! And DH hired movers so I won't have to do much packing! Also, we finally got our DD out of her swaddle and she's sleeping better than ever! Knock on wood!

We are working on the baby book today. We ordered the pictures yesterday and I am excited to have actual pictures of LO instead of just digital ones.

Oliver slept 8.5 hrs last night AND took a 90 minute nap this morning, and he usually never naps for more than 20 minutes at a pop. Hope this is a trend and not a fluke! And it's much cooler here today after a strong cold front moved through last night.

We got to see old friends at Zach's baptism and we had a get together after. One of my husbands closest friends that we hardly get to see stayed the night and my mom took lo for the night. It was fun to catch up and nice to not be constantly listening for a cry.
