Throat coat tea?

Does anyone know if throat coat tea is safe while pregnant? Of course I went almost 2 years without getting sick and now I've had a peristant sore throat for 2 days. Spending the day surfing the couch, but I'd like some relief without taking a ton of Tylenol. Help!!

    Which herbs are in it? I wouldn't recommend drinking any herbal tea without talking to your doctor first because some can have some serious ill effects on baby.

    Garlic soup helped me before! It's a French recipe, and has a ton of garlic. You're supposed to dip a crusty baguette into. Mmmm, now I want some!

    It says not to drink if you're pregnant or breast feeding on the box. I'd ask your doc though. It also says not to give it to kids and DD's pediatrician said it was perfectly fine.

    I love that stuff with some honey! I have not had it while pregnant though. I would ask your doc. My doc says herbal teas are ok in moderation, but I know a lot say differently.
