Things you shouldn't have bought this week....

I've been fairly thrifty the last few months (maybe because I was so darn sick) but this past weekend I went a little overboard on random buys. The one you all will laugh about:

*A full Victorian gown for the Dickens Faire   


Totally unnecessary. Your unnecessary buys? And yes, I do realize I'm a huge nerd. I embrace it!

    Sadly for me nothing this week since we've been so busy with the start of school and had two soccer games after school! Hoping to do dome shopping this weekend though :)

    I bought a package of microderm and facials from a medispa that I go to. It makes it way cheaper in the long run to buy the package (it saves like 35%) but it's like a decent sized investment upfront.

    I could contribute to this thread every week.

    I bought a long gauzy skirt from forever 21 (yes, I realize I am about 13 years too old to be shopping there) a new blush brush and a black hooded "fall" jacket.

    I need to be stopped.

    I've been eyeing a cute blazer there for a bit, I bet it's the same one! black with the front kind of longer and swishy (I clearly cannot describe clothes)

    I spent about $100 on fall clothes for DD on Ebay. That $100 included 17 pairs of jeans though. Yes you read that right. 17. And 10 of those are Justice brand which retails for like $40 each so it was a steal.

    I bought SpongeBob underwear for DS. Totally unnecessary., but he loves SpongeBob and I like spoling him.

    @MissPeansMama, I gave up on Zulily,mostly, but they do have cute kids stuff sometimes...gah, the wait though!
    @helenahandbasket, I love F21! But not as much as ASOS.
    @Jellybean529, that's a seriously good deal! 

    Today's unnesceary purchase was a shirt from the Con for my husband. Gotta bring him something!

    24-pack and then a 4-pack of craft beer that was like $40 total. I missed drinking so much while pregnant that I tend to go nuts sometimes... I have a whole fridge in my basement FULL of beer. It's ridiculous.

    I took DS to Toys R Us yesterday. He had a $50 gift card from the grandparents that was burning a hole in my pocket. I figured I'd let him pick out 1 splurge and then I'd buy some diapers that were sort of on sale. Well DS picked out a bubble machine. I got the diapers. Then I ended up picking up Christmas/birthday presents for some other little people in our lives. Ended up spending $83! At least some Christmas shopping is out of the way. Don't feel bad for DS... He has another $50 gift card that we've yet to spend!
