So I posted the photo of the pink hat on Facebook today (as I have been with all of my completed crochet projects) and it seems I've started the rumourville - everyone thinks it's some hint to us having a girl.

I'm only 17 weeks - no at anatomy scan yet, no idea what we are having..., and even when we do find out we aren't planning to share that news. We've always been faithfully team green - this time it's just different, and personal.

Anyway.. In case we do have a girl, I'm very happy with this preciously pink rose bud hat.
Also garden inspired is a little sweet pea hat I finished the other day.

I'm totally addicted to crocheting. I'm going to have to photograph my baby ten times a day to be able to use them all! imageimage

    I love those hats!! A friend of mine follows me on Pintrest and apparently I gave away the fact that we are having a boy before we announced because I was pinning dinosaur nursery stuff. Never mind the fact that this was also before our a/s and I had no idea what we were having at the time! People will read what ever they want into things.

    @goldengirl84 A friend of mine taught me some basic stitches - but the rest of what I know is self taught using YouTube videos. It is extremely easy!! I've tried to knit for years and always get all tangled, but the one simple crochet hook makes it easy - freeing up you other hand to control the yarn tension.
    YouTube is great - some videos better than others. You can totally do it. It really is easy.

    I've been crocheting for all of 6 weeks - and can make these hats in about 4 or 5 hours ... I improvised my own pattern and design. There is a lot you can do..

    @RN536‌ I would love to make a boy hat for you! I'll keep you posted!
