Do you guys mind if I join? :)

I'm not quite a SAHM yet (but I'm a pregnant SAHW, and as soon as kiddo is born I will be).   My H and I recently picked up and moved to a different country (Canada) for his work purposes.  He's a dual US/Canadian citizen, I'm American.  I'm not legally allowed to work right now (until I'm a perm resident, which can take over a year), so I'll be a SAHM.

In my past life, I was a ballet teacher.  I've worked since I was 16 so this is a HUGE adjustment for me. 

I'm pregnant with #1 and due January 1.  With a big move, leaving my friends and the adjustment of not working, I wanted to join here for some adult communication/insight or somethin'.  I'm also supposed to take it easy (high blood pressure issues) so I have a lot of spare time on my hands right now.

    Forrest Gump!  I could literally watch it every week, never gets old. Love me some musicals, too (Annie, etc).

    And we're not finding out the sex, so we have a list going for both. We're being pretty indecisive, though, so it's likely the kid will be named in the hospital. Or remain nameless.

    Hi and welcome! I'm in Canada too. I also love Forrest Gump, but 20th anniversary? Cripes, I feel old. I remember going to see that at the theatre when I was about to graduate from high school.
