I was hesitant to take medicine for my PPD & PPA, but a combination of paxil, progesterone, and counseling is really helping me. Not to mention, I enlisted more help from friends & family instead of shutting them out. I have some stress about taking the medicine, but I haven't had a panic/anxiety attack in a week, which is helping me function almost normally.
**I sent too soon- I meant to ask if anyone else has been having success with treatment.
I'm not giving advice - this is just what is working for me.
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.
Only stressed a bit because I'm breastfeeding. I decided the compromise would be to take a lower dose and to work in some formula during peak times when it is in my body.
The studies look good for only a small transfer of micrograms- trace amounts- but I always worry a little that there could be effects later on my little guy.
Re: Feeling better- medicine is helping
I'm really glad it's helping, though!
Glad to hear that it is helping you.
