  Not a fan of Leah. I think Molly is great!

  I chose Leah, because isn't Molly a name of a drug? I also had a dog named Molly, which I think is darling on a little girl as well, but.. I keep going back to the drug thing.

  Leah is far more serious and mature. Your child will age past 8, so will thank you for a name that can carry her beyond childhood.

  Why not use Leah as a first name and Molly as a middle name sounds kind of cute together, to me at least.

  Agree that Molly sounds too cutesy, is the name of a drug, and is also the name of my American Girl doll from when I was younger.

  I like them both, but I like Leah a lot more. I think the biblical connection gives it a lot more substance. I have known adults named Molly so I don't think of it as juvenile, but the drug connection does turn me off
