My boy's STTN was short lived. Just the one night. Ah, well.
We are going to a 5th birthday party in the morning for my friend's son. It's in the morning and she is serving breakfast items, so I'm going to try and bake some marble banana bread in the morning. Z plans to take Ash with her to run, do I might actually have some baby-free time (while I'm not working, that is).
No official plans the rest of the weekend, but I told Z I want to take advantage of the long weekend and have some fun! We'll see what we come up with. Hopefully a family walk on Sunday, followed by brunch, followed by... I don't know, but something fun for all!
Banana bread & baby free time sounds delightful!! Banana bread is my favorite.
Here's to Ash STTN for you again soon. :-)
Our weekend is pretty low key. More work on the house today. Tomorrow we head out with our brother & sister-in-law to meet EVs mother for coffee at the beach. It's a big deal, our relationship with EVs mom is rocky to say the least and this is the first time she will meet the boys... FX all goes well. Sunday afternoon we're hanging out with friends and their toddler. Monday's up in the air but a long walk or trip to the pool would be nice.
Oh, I was up too! I'd just "graduated" myself to side-lying nursing! It was so great during the night! The only downside is that I can't type on my phone. However, it's morning now and back to sitting up feeds!
This weekend (and my foreseeable future is nurse, change diaper, sleep/nap. Howber, within that we are going to attempt a walk partially around Greenlake. I seem to feel fine but then I go around the block and I'm pooped! J is going to wear the baby which I think will help a lot. Otherwise, Monday we are hosting a little family picnic for three holiday and my youngest sisters birthday. And it's Simone's first holiday!

We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.
Our IUIs with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.
Our IVFs: IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response
IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014 BCPs and lupron overlap Stimmed: 1/22-2/2: Bravelle and Menopur (dosage ranged from B300 and M150 to B375 and M150 to B300 and M225) 2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition. BFP eve of 6dp3dt; Beta 1 (11dp3dt): 110; Beta 2 (13dp3dt): 175; Beta 3 (15dp3dt): 348; Beta 4 (19dp3dt): 2222; Beta 5 (21dp3dt): 4255 1st ultrasound (3/6 6w 1d): TWINS!!!! Twin A measuring 6w1d with a heartbeat of 118bpm. Twin B measuring 6w0d with a heartbeat of 113bpm.
***July 18, 2014 we lost our beautiful babies at 21 weeks gestation. They were born too early. Tavin Sara T. and Casey Elizabeth T. are beautiful and precious and we will love them and miss them forever.***
FET #1 December 2014
Intralipid infusion on Dec 10. Transfer of 1 day 3 nine-cell embryo into my uterus on Dec. 19. (acupuncture immediately before and after)
BFP on Dec. 27; Beta 1 Jan 2 (14dp3dt): 665, Beta 2 Jan 4 (16dp3dt): 1859, Beta 3 Jan 6 (18dp3dt): 4449, Beta 4 Jan 10 (22dp3dt): 12,251.
Hahaha... Weekends. Sleep, change diapers, feed, interact briefly, hold upright for at least 45 mins to decrease reflux spits, repeat. Hopefully work in a load or laundry and a shower in there each day, if possible.
A & K, married 7/1/13.
After 10 months of ttc via medicated IUIs and two early losses, we finally got our boys- Perfect premie twins born 5/27/14.
Last night S was working so I was home alone with B. He had his vaccinations yesterday afternoon and was definitely not feeling like himself. He was lethargic and sort of pathetic. I felt bad for him but he was also super snuggly and sleepy and I was able to get some stuff done while he napped. Pizza delivery for dinner and I made some chocolate chip cookies. We gave B some Tylenol and he got a great night's sleep, so we did too. Only woke up once around 3:30 and he slept in his bassinet!
We made corn muffins this morning and ate them with homemade (by my stepmother) strawberry jam. Then we took B to run some errands -- groceries and BJ's. We stocked up on a bunch of stuff we'd been needing, organized our freezer and chest freezer and our basement food shelves. I cooked a kale farro salad for my lunch this week, which is the kind of thing I used to do pre-baby and haven't been able to do in a while. S is paying bills while watching LOTR and I've been doing dishes, laundry, and picking up around the house. I realize these are not exciting things but it's a level of cleanliness and organization we have not managed often since B was born so I am super proud of us (and of him for allowing it to happen -- he is currently napping in his bassinet, unheard of!). We're going out for fried clams and ice cream tonight.
Tomorrow and Monday S works. I have no plans, but hope to join friends and their 4m old daughter for a walk on Sunday. Monday it's supposed to rain; I think B and I will lay low.
Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011 9 IUIs = 9 BFNs IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31! We (J, J's bro, J's bro's GF, and I) went to Chicago for the day yesterday. I was able to meet up with my cousin who was there for the 1D concert with her friend (my cousin's funny... She's 20 and was like, "omg, we were the oldest people there! But I didn't care! It was awesome!") We had a good day. Did a quick tour of the city with her and her friend. (Michigan Ave, Navy Pier, Lincoln Park Zoo, and The Bean) Then, when my cousin and her friend had to head back home the four of us made our way back down Michigan Ave and then had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory before headed home! We didn't get home til about 1:30 in the morning so now everyone else is still sleeping!!
J's brother and his GF are staying with us until tomorrow for the long weekend. We'll probably just hang out at home and relax after our long day yesterday. My mom dogsat for us yesterday so we have to go pick her up from my parent's house at some point. Then we have to go to Petsmart to see about finding some sort of cream to put on the pad of her front paw because it's rubbed raw and the poor thing can hardly walk and isn't acting herself cause she's in pain. Poor baby!
