Hi, ladies!
DH and I have been married for one year, and just found out we are expecting on Monday! This is a first pregnancy for me, and it's exciting and a little scary. We conceived literally one week after we decided to start trying. I never realized I was such a worrywart until this last week, haha. Every time something feels "different" I wonder if something is wrong. I'm learning to be calm and recognizing that everything for the next nine months will feel different, haha.
My EDD is May 4, 2015. I don't know if this is long-winded or not... I'm excited to interact with other new moms, and look forward to hearing what seasoned "veteran" moms already have to say. We are waiting until 8 weeks to tell family, so I don't feel like I have anyone to ask for advice or express my fears.
If you're still reading, thanks for sticking with me so far! Can't wait to get to know each other better
Re: Introduction
I'm a first-timer too and was shocked when I got a BFP after literally one week of trying! I mean, I was happy, but I was counting a little bit on the power of statistics and probability and I wasn't expecting it to happen so fast! So it was a little bit of an "omg now what" moment too! So I can definitely relate to what you're going through! Good luck!
