Diaper bag for delivery?

Have any of you ladies gotten your diaper bags packed and ready to go for when you deliver your sweet bundle of joy??? I just finished getting Gracie's diaper bag together and its all starting to feel real :-) i am so excited!!

    I don't have a diaper bag, diapers or really anything. But if I did have those things I probably would pack it all up because I am always super paranoid that I am going to forget something...
    Married my best friend 7/2/11 - Furbaby born 7/9/11 and brought into our home 9/1/11

    BFP#1:   2/2/13 ~ exact m/c date unknown but around 3/20 at 10 weeks ~ diagnosed with PMP ~ D&C on 4/5 ~ TTA for at least 1 year due to PMP ~ cleared to TTC 1/14

    BFP#2:   2/7/14 ~ m/c 2/20/14 ~ possibly due to chemical pregnancy ~ TG no D&C is needed 

    Surprise BFP#3:  4/4/14 ~ super duper extra happy (and nervous) about this one - EDD 12/9/14!!!

    John Joseph was born on 12/12/14 at 7 lbs. 11 oz.  He is the most beautiful rainbow baby we could have wished for!

    I'm just going to use my Vera bradly diaper bag and over stuff it with everything for the hospital maybe a few weeks before I'm due.

    If I pack a bag now I will lose it. I probably won't pack until December since I am due December 31st.

    What is gbcb? I hadn't even thought about packing a bag yet. When are we supposed to do that???

    I didn't even use a diaper bag with DS at the hospital; they provided everything we needed for our stay. I just put his going home outfit in my hospital bag. I don't even have a diaper bag for this LO yet....I'm pretty sure I have a while still.

    For some reason, I thought she was the one who went over to 2nd tri to say what meanies D14 were.


     ETA: Nevermind, it was some Emily chick. I think in the past they had very similar posting styles.

    Oh I will give you this tip:
    Do not buy a giant box of newborn size diapers. Just but the small pack. Which you will likely give half to a pregnant friend. DD was in newborn size for a day.

    I didn't even think of packing a diaper bag, doesn't the hospital give diapers and wipes while you're there? I didn't think the baby needed anything but an outfit to come home....

    We won't be bringing one to the hospital. Didn't need it with our first and it's just another bag to carry.

    All the diapers, wipes, etc at the hospital are yours to take. Once the packages are opened they need to be used by the same patient or thrown away. We left with a ton of diapers.

    I won't be taking a diaper bag for LO. I'll take her going home outfit in my bag and a blanket for the car seat since it'll be December after all. Everything else is provided, including a going home hat that the little old lady volunteers always make. E got a cute little pumpkin one last time around. Last time I packed entirely too much crap! This time it's the bare minimums. When will I pack my bag? Probably right before I know I'm going into labor, just like last time. I'm a last minute packer with everything. H hates it.

    Nope! I'll throw a thick blanket and an outfit in my bag and call it done. This is my 3rd and I doubt I'll even bring much for myself. I didn't use 50% of what I packed the last couple times.

    I packed her baby book in her diaper bag cause i have them put her feet print in it. I did the same with my son. I think i go a little overboard....

    Last time I used the diaper bag as my hospital bag. Will do that again but won't start packing/putting things together until late November or early December.

    Only things I'll bring for baby is an outfit and nail file.

    I didn't plan on bringing one .. as for a hospital bag, that is definitely not packed!

    Check ebay! They have all kinds of discontinued bags for good prices. I got a Kate Spade diaper bag in a pattern that was discontinued over a year ago for half off retail. Brand new still wrapped in plastic!
