Cravings!

Hello (: I'm 9 weeks pregnant with first baby and have had horrible morning sickness when trying to eat 'normal healthy food' like toast, jacket potatoes etc and have totally gone off foods I normally live on (pasta, eggs and cheese specifically).
I've found today that spicy food is stopping me from feeling sick and hasn't made me feel unwell at all- I can't get enough of MAMA shrimp tom yum flavour instant noodles.
This little one is going to be a chilli head like me- not like Dad who hates spicy food hahaha ^^
Just wondering what everyone else is craving (if anything yet), and what is helping you all through the sicky days (none of the conventional things are working for me besides lemonade).

  • I ate Doritos the past two days as a snack, and had sushi tonight. The sushi made me feel WONDERFUL! (Maybe I was low on B vitamins?) This is my second and I am having a way harder time eating healthy food (which I am usually all about, thank God I splurged on good prenatals). And YES you can have Mexican food everyday beans have SO much folic acid!!
  • Anything pickle flavoured! \:D/
  • I am having the same cravings I had with my first: bagels, cheese burgers. Tonight I ate a Wendy's Frosty and dipped my fries into it. HEAVEN!
  • I've been craving anything BBQ! And i like the burnt part. Chicken skewers, salmon, veggie burger etc.
  • I'm not craving anything. I pretty much have an aversion to everything.

  • I have been going from sick to starving like a yoyo. I demanded pizza last weekend. I typically despise pizza. DH says he doesn't need a paternity test: LO is definitely his. Haha
  • Pickles and Olives!
  • Anything that has bacon or banana peppers. Also baked potatoes and chicken nuggets from Wendys. I had that for lunch AND dinner the other night. Worst. Idea. Ever.
  • KFC mashed potatoes and gravy, and biscuits. I'm drooling just thinking about it.
  • My craving is anything pasta

  • Last night was cream cheese rangoons, chocolate covered donut, Klondike bar, and a happy meal hamburger. I got only the hamburger - yay for showing restraint?
  • Anything sour. Lemons, limes, sour candy, etc
  • The other day it was apple juice. Last night was Nachos from our favorite Mexican restaurant. This morning was bacon. It changes by the hour!
  • Blueberry muffins, ketchup, and cookie dough ice cream (not together obviously)

  • I've been craving pickles, classic lays potato chips, and tater tots covered with sour cream and nacho cheese. It doesn't help with morning sickness but at least I can eat them without wanting to throw up(:
  • Broccoli - I can't get enough of it. I know, I'm a weirdo.  I guess I should be glad that my craving is a healthy one.

  • Anything salty and crunchy - French fries, Goldfish crackers, Chex Mix, saltines, etc. I'm totally off of sweets.
  • All things I can't eat since I have celiac. Soft pretzels,KFC mashed potatoes with gravy and a biscuit,mc Donald's hamburgers and chicken nuggets, also Wendy's chicken nuggets.

  • Breakfast foods, steak, and taco sala lol :)))))

  • This thread made me hungry! I'm craving lemonade (sour kind, not too sweet) and anything salty- especially French fries. And yogurt sometimes. Basically, these are the only things I can eat without throwing up. Anything else is a guessing game lol

  • I'm having the "everything sounds good but very little tastes right" dilemma. I have been loving mac n cheese and ice cream sandwiches and salads with ranch though. I used to hate salad dressing!!

  • This past week all I wanted was PB&J.
  • Chocolate milkshakes, bread and butter pickles, granola bars lemonade sour candy and yogurt.

    Last pregnancy was so different: black raspberry ice cream w peanut butter sauce, half sour pickles, blueberry iced tea and burgers.
  • I have to be careful when reading these threads or watching stuff online because I don't necessarily crave anything until I see it/read it then I have to have it! My major things have been carby foods or fattening foods of course. Pasta, sandwiches from chik fil a, quesadillas, red robin french fries and stuff like that.

  • Hi all moms to be I am 8 weeks preg and till now I am not craving for anything. But only thing that is bothering me is this morning sickness. I don't know what to try to avoid this morning sickness. Do u have anything in ur mind that could stop this sickness?
  • I literally have an obsession with sprinkles right now! So strange but I could eat them by the spoonful! :x
  • Try ginger gum for morning sickness. I just started having nausea and it seems to help.
  • So glad it's not just me, thanks ladies! For the morning sickness a lot of people have lemonade and ginger biscuits but tbh I'm finding it best to just eat what and when I want, it's better than forcing something down that I'll just throw back up again ^^
