This was taken Wednesday at 17 weeks.. I feel huge!! I can only image 20 more weeks of extreme growing. Oh my!

Oh, and a basset hound photobomb too :) This is Stella, our rescue basset. She knows a lot about having babies and having them stolen from her. When she was rescued she had to have a tummy tuck because she was so stretched out from being over bred. Poor girl. But she's with us now and living the dogs life, spoiled rotten. :)image

    Would you believe the people who over bred Stella were going to have her put down when they were done breeding her?!? That's how she found her way into rescue. She was fostered, and we adopted her from her foster home. She's about ten years old (vet's best guess) but is as lively as a puppy. Her health improved dramatically after we brought her home, and it took a while for her to accept affection..., we guess she was kennelled most of her life.
    She's amazing now, loves being rubbed, tries to be a lap dog all the time, follows me everywhere.. All she needed was a little love and a soft couch. :)
