Diane Sawyer

I was looking her up the other day and realized she goes by her middle name. Her full name is Lila Diane Sawyer. I found this really interesting and wonder if her memoir someday may reveal why she chose to go by Diane in her career. Just thought I'd share this interesting discovery.

    Hunh, I'm curious too. Did she want a stronger sounding name then Lila? Was there some other Lila Sawyer on the scene?

    My first thought was that she felt Lila was too soft and feminine for her goals...
