  Yes it was my grandfather's name.  I'm Italian and DH is Irish.  I like to honor my Italian relatives in the MN spot since the names don't necessarily "match" our last name.

  The two names put together feel funny when I say them.  However, I really do not think flow matters that much with FN/MN.  FN/LN is more important since it gets said more often.

  I think the flow is fine, I'm just not a huge fan of Cole in general, and especially not with Cam.

  Well I loooove Mario especially because it was my grandfather's name... but I just don't like it with the other boys' names or our last name which is very Irish.  Maybe it's just my OCD but I can't do it.  I don't mind the double C's with Cam and Cole, I actually really like the names together.

  
  

  Cole Robert would be a strong contender but I just hear Kohlrabi when I say it and I don't like that!

  I like Cole and Mario but they don't sound that great together, but since it has special meaning I think it's ok, it's not like the full name would be said very often.
