April 2015 Moms

Grrrrr... men.

My husband is such an ass. He's trying to play as many disney songs as he can until he can get me to cry because he knows  inspirational crap gets me teary-eyed or worse when taking the path through knockedupsville. If he play's Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American" he is going to win this round... that dick. %-(

goddammit... he's playing "The Climb"

  • Reading this makes me tear up.

    Greyson Robert
  • "Laughed until we cried" came on the radio on my way to work and by time I got there I was sobbing this morning

Why in the world is he trying to make you cry?
because he's a turd... but also my BFFL, and it's not like the hurt feelings type, more like as if my emotions have become ticklish, and though tickling me usually gets him kicked, those few seconds of reaction are totally worth it. He's been bringing me ginger ale in bed every morning before he leaves for work to help with the morning sickness, so it balances out.

Another one: Feed Jake by Pirates of the Mississippi... a song that usually just provokes a little sniffle, made me pull out the big guns of the ugly cry...snot bubbles and all

  • Not crying at songs yet but a lot of the YouTube videos posted on Facebook are getting me! Especially the deaf baby getting his first hearing aids and the smile on his face when he hears his moms voice.
  • I haven't been teary at all during this pregnancy and I only was twice with our other child. I was super emotional after he was born though. Idk why but I just kept randomly feeling like crying.

I'm the opposite. Non-preg and postpartum, I'm usually cool as a cucumber, but preg I will randomly boohoo about stuff, and I get SUPER bitchy. Well, super bitchy compared to my usual demeanor.
(that said... I'm sorry if I get bitchy with anyone in here for the next seven months... Maybe we should set up safe words for when we're in a bitchy ranty mood...I'll start, the safe word is : Banana)

Haha this is me, too!! It's normally really hard to rile me up. But DH stole my pillow before bed the other night (probably trying to be flirtatious. Poor guy.) I started crying, stole his Kindle & threatened to break it if he didn't give me my pillow back immediately. I think that puts me safely in both the emotional and crazy categories...

hahahaha! I think it was with Tiahna that I got upset because I was queasy but hungry but I couldn't eat or I would get queasy and I just really wanted a choco-taco... he just sat there like he feared for his life...

  • HAHAHAHAHA! Y'all are cracking me up. My husband looked like a frightened animal the times I lost it after DS was born, I can only imagine what would happen if it was 9months of that instead of two weeks. He'd probably move in with his dad until the baby was born.
