FFFC anyone?

Here's mine-

I'm going wine tasting tomorrow. A bunch of friends and I go monthly and tomorrow is our August date. Obviously I'm not going to go crazy, but I'm still going to participate as a 'last hoorah'.

PS- I was definitely a different person with my first...this would have horrified me. haha

I bought my son his fall/winter wardrobe online about a week ago. After I placed the order, he had his birthday party and got several outfits. The order came yesterday and DH now wants me to return some of it. I plan on cutting all the tags off and washing it all today because it's all so cute!

DH comes home today and I have to go pick him up. I would much rather stay at home than drive to the airport in the city. I hate going there.

DH is off with DS today because he has family coming into town for the long weekend. I told him that I would let him know if our office closes early so I can meet up with them. I knew yesterday that our office is closing at 2:30 but I'm not telling him so I can go to Target and take a nap instead.

I'm drinking a Diet Coke right now. And I had one with dinner last night. This, along with my morning coffee, definitely puts me over my caffeine allotment for the day. I don't care one bit right now and am enjoying every sip!

My sister in law is also TTC right now, and I'm secretly thrilled that I "beat" her too. I kind of feel a little guilty about my secrets feelings. I'm glad I'm not alone!

My FFFC is that I told DH that since I'm pregnant, I can no longer mow the lawn. I *know* that I still could right now and probably through my first trimester, but I just hate mowing the lawn.

I am still cleaning the litter boxes. I should probably make H do it but I can already tell it would turn into a situation of me constantly nagging him, which I hate doing. Guess I should get some masks and gloves...

sarahchrismck irishtheatrechic - one word of warning about the SIL's....be prepared for them to (possibly) not take the news very well.

When I got pg with DS, my SIL (my DH's sister) and I were VERY close...like nearly BFF's close. When we said we were pregnant, I will NEVER forget her face. Her mouth dropped to the floor. And not in a good way. This never made sense to me because she's younger than me (I was 31 when I got pg in March 2011 the first time and she was 28), she wasn't even trying yet, and she had no reason to be mad.

She immediately stopped talking to me outside of family gatherings, didn't ask me anything about my pregnancy, etc. And to this day, we aren't really friends anymore. She also has no kind of relationship with my son. Why she has decided to punish my son I will never know. It's not like she had been trying or was having trouble. She has gone on to have her own baby and got pregnant the first month they started trying! I truly don't get it.

I hope your SIL's don't react this way!!! It's sad to know that in having my son, I lost a friend for reasons unknown to me.

irishtheatrechic, I can't even!! Are we the same person??

DH and I got engaged in October of 2008....we told she and her BF at the time at dinner and she just looked at her BF and said "When are we getting engaged???". They got engaged in December. DH and I had set our wedding date for 9/19/09. When does she schedule hers? 7/4/09. She got ALL the attention and ALL the help from IL's. We weren't mad at the time, but DH and I look back on it now and are like What. The. Fuck. That was a definite spotlight stealing move right there, wasn't it? So, I know she was PISSED when I got pregnant first.

I had sushi for dinner tonight. (And it was delicious). Which means 1) I ate raw fish and endangered my unborn child, and 2) broke my vegetarianism for a night. Bad me!

@katie0919 I'm kind of wondering how she will take the news actually. I feel like she is going to be happy for us, but maybe feel sad at the same time. I hope it doesn't ruin our good relationship!

I've already started eating for two. Well- dessert for two. Baby is craving froyo!

Also- not planning on eating any differently. Blue cheese? Yes. Sushi? Yes. Cold cuts? Hells yes. I dare you to try and deny me a Jimmy Johns.

Jimmy john's was all I ate during my last pregnancy. No lie I had it like 5 times a week.

It's the perfect food. Veggies, wonderful bread, and hot peppers on everything. If that's not a balanced meal I don't know what is.

I ate a ton too, and am planning to with this pregnancy. Unfortunately I was pregnant with DD during the sprouts scare. And the cantelope scare. Funny how those foods haven't made the list...
