Anyone else experiencing regularly lower back pain? This is my first pregnancy and I'm about 6.5 weeks along (get my first ultrasound on the 15!) Curious if this is something that should concern me or if you ladies have regular back pain as well?? TIA

  • I had it with my 3rd you will get all kinds of pains if it is bothering you talk to a doctor

  • I'm a chef an get real bad back pain when I'm standing up for a while (I'm 9 weeks). I have a back support but can't wear when feeling sick as it pushes on my belly, considering speaking to the doctor re: physiotherapy.

  • Yea... Unfortunately, it makes it difficult to fall asleep!

    May I recommend some basic prenatal yoga? There are DVDs you can buy or even look online for some videos! There are even some yoga routines to help you fall asleep that are safe for pregnancy! It really helps me with all of my aches and pains... Lower back, leg cramps, hips, etc. GL!!

  • Never too early to get a snoogle pillow. That might help ease some of your back pain.

  • I have this too, its most likely because of your boobs growing! Invest in a good bra, that helped me ☺️
  • I've had a dull pain since before my bfp. I go to the chiropractor regularly and try to stretch in the am.

  • Thank you so much everyone! When it is your first pregnancy you tend to over analyze things and worry unnecessarily! It is great to hear you ladies dealing with the same thing... even though it sucks lol! I may have to look into this special pillow you guys are talking about.... and bra shopping is next on my list! Pre-natal yoga is a fantastic idea! Thanks everyone
  • During my first pregnancy, I saw a good chiropractor every week - and I never had any back pain!

    BFP #1: 10/2011, Pre-eclampsia in last 6 weeks, emergency C-section, DD born 6/25/11

    BFP #2: 8/16/14, Ectopic Pregnancy & Methotrexate Inj. 9/5/14, Adverse MTX reaction, HCG levels down after 2 weeks

    BFP #3: 2/23/2016, EDD 10/28/2016

  • Stretching can help a lot and I second a snoogle, I have one and love it. The only time I have heard that lower back pain should be a concern is if it is accompanied by bleeding and cramping.

  • Heating pad and stretching. But mainly a heating pad.

  • Sticking to my exercise routine helps (when i have the energy!! Lol) i also got a body pillow and i've been sleeping on my side with it between my legs. I've found sleeping on my back makes my back feel worse.
