Stay at Home Moms

Job job job!!!

I got a job, y'all!! Nothing is final yet and I have an assload of paperwork, background checks, liability insurance, etc, but I'm hoping to start by October. I am so very excited. It's a contract job, so I will hopefully make my own hours and be doing it 3 days a week. I will be a behavioral specialist for the early intervention here in GA, so I'll be going to families who are already in EI who need some behavioral support in the home environment. For those of you who have had children in early intervention, what did you need in a therapist? What did you hate about the therapists? Is there anything you wish the therapist had known? Help me be the best for the families and children!!

  • I had that job in college... The one thought I'd say from that experience is flexibility! Sometimes you just need to go outside and fly a kite.. The other thing you need is flexibility - if they're already at the point of having your services in their home it means they've got a million other appointments to keep/maintain.
