2nd time mom - cautious intro

Good morning ladies!  Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.  Just got my BFP last night (and this morning, lol) and I'm cautiously hopeful.  I had a chemical pregnancy in June, so I definitely know I'm still not out of the woods yet.  But this one is feeling different, I've had a few more symptoms and its just so hard NOT to be excited!!! :)

I am 31, married and we have 1 son who is almost 2.  My son was delivered via csection due to a failed induction because of PIH (high blood pressure)/pre-eclampsia.  I never got to experience labor at all.  I know that my csection was necessary and I'm so grateful for modern medicine, but I feel cheated out of one of life's most amazing events.  I want so badly to experience labor.  I will be attempting a VBAC this time.  I am passionate about making women feel empowered to make educated choices when it comes to birth/labor/delivery and beyond.   

I am a cloth diaper mom and would LOVE to tell any new (or old!!) moms how AWESOME cloth diapers are!!!!  Seriously, I'm addicted and they are awesome.  Confession: I'm a diaper snob.  I can't stand the smell or feel of disposables.  I also breastfed my son until he was 14 months, so definitely planning to breastfeed the next one.  I dabbled in babywearing, but just never really got the hang of wrapping.  I still have my wrap and Boba carrier, so I'm hoping to really try harder next time to wear my baby more.

I will most likely be a lurker but I'm going to try to be as active as possible.  We're very busy at work right now, so I'm trying not to waste too much time on the bump these days.  I'm still a member of my son's BMB (on FB) and love all the amazing friends I've made.  I look forward to getting to know everyone.  Happy and healthy 9 months to us all!!!

    Congrats! I hope you get a VBAC :) My DS will be 2 in November and I am still close my Nov '12 BMB too. I loved having them to help me through my first pregnancy. I look forward to getting to know you!

    Jersey, when you start looking into it, ask ANY question you have.  I'm happy to help.  Even with daycare, it is possible to cloth diaper 100% of the time. :)  And there are so so many good reasons to use cloth diapers! :)

    I know I'm not cloth diapering and not breastfeeding but welcome!  Congratulations on your pregnancy and I wish you a smooth one with VBAC at the end.

    Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

    Welcome and Congrats!  I am close to my J13 BMB on FB as well.  I clothed diapered up until a year and then stopped.  I plan on doing it again with baby No. 2    My daughter is still nursing and doesn't seem to want to give it up.
