Hi! I tried this on the nursery and baby items forum but got crickets, so I'm wondering if you gals could help?
My husband's office wants to buy us a baby gift (it is a thing they do and they're all chipping in - so nice of them). They emailed me and asked me what we would like, and the budget is around $125.
Since we're not due for a long time I haven't even thought about baby stuff and TBH I'm a terrible shopper (I've never liked shopping) I have no idea!
So, what would you ask them to get you? Or what was the best gift you got, or you've given?
Thanks!
Re: $125 office gift for baby
Also a nice baby carrier, like an ergo baby, would be a treat and would get a lot of use. Cheaper carriers are out there, but if it isn't comfortable you won't end up using it.
One more idea- a video monitor system. I LOVED having mine. It's a definite must in my book.
Yes, it is very early but also so kind if them.
I didn't write it in my original post but I am feeling uncomfortable with dictating what gift to get me (I feel rude)!
I'm so glad to have your help to be able to answer in a way that does not have me come off as a greedy gift grabber!
Like you've suggested, I'm going to make a registry with a few items ranging in price from $20 up to $120 and then let them know they're welcome to pick whatever they think is cute and surprise us.
Thanks so much for the ideas for the registry! Now I'll just google them and add them in! :-)
