ideas for baptism favors?

Anyone have any creative ideas for favors for a baptism lunch reception?  We are having ~50 people and I'd like something not super cheezy...  Was thinking of candies or something like that, but I feel like that's so boring so would love any more creative ideas you've seen/thought of!  Thanks!!

Re: ideas for baptism favors?

  • oooh great question! I hadn't thought of doing favors...not sure how many people will be coming to the house afterwards but I might consider it now.

I love doing chocolate molds as favors. You can get 'cross chocolate molds' on amazon for super cheap. Get baggies and sticks and michaels and some pink, blue, or white chocolate melts and you're done! I think I might do this now that I think about it! :)

How long does this take?  I am a super spazz in the kitchen....  :)
  • I like cookies or a cookie, maybe in the shape of cross?! Food is always good.

  • @giggler25 these are super easy. I ordered a mold on amazon the other night. Get some chocolate melts and lolly pop sticks from Michael's or Joann's, melt in the microwave and pour into the mold. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes or til they are set (there are instructions in the package). Lift them out and do another set. I bought the clear bags and twist ties at Michael's as well and packaged them and put in a basket. Hope that all makes sense!
