I am typically not one to worry about little things, but this has me a little wiggy.
I was out celebrating my birthday at a nice restaurant at lunch today and I accidentally ate some under cooked chicken that was in my salad. I removed the remainder of the chicken, but I still ate the rest of the salad, which now I am thinking I shouldn't have done. I haven't called my doctor yet because I didn't think they would be able to do anything unless I was having symptoms.
Have any of you ladies dealt with this during pregnancy? If so, what was the outcome? Of course, I googled 'salmonella during pregnancy' and all it did was scare the shit out of me. I'm not sure what the likelihood is of me getting sick, but all I really care about at this point is protecting my baby.
