Cloth Diapering

Daycare question+Milovia question

My LO is 10 mo and we are starting daycare with an at home provider (our nanny went back to school).  The new sitter is great, and she said that she used to CD her kids and is fine with CD's.  My hubby is not on board with CDs, Im the only one who will use them, so he isnt going to be thrilled to be picking up dirty dipes so I may be picking them up.  My question is, DS poop hasnt been ploppable (is that a word?) yet.  How is she going to deal with a poop diaper if she doesn't have a sprayer?

The other day someone mentioned a cute Milovia print.  Where do you get Milovia's?  I cant find anywhere where you can buy them?

I've tried to do just a hot water strip on some of my pockets, and they are still leaking.  What should I do next?  Baking soda?  I've seen some stripping products.  are any of those good?

She could dunk and swish the poopy dipers in the toilet or just leave them for you to take care of later.

Milovia isn't sold in the US (yet?). There's a Facebook group that takes orders for them called Milovia Cloth Mamas and there's some UK sites that do international shipping, I think.

  • If you send a wet bag for the diapers every day then he really won't have to touch dirty diapers ;) Maybe find one that zips up like RAR and he might feel better about picking them up at the end of day.

My daycare won't do anything to dirty diapers, so I will plop/spray when I get them home.

    No idea about the Milovia.

  • Thanks guys! Never thought of the zipper wet bag, this why I ask questions here ;)
  • My poopy diapers always just came home poopy (she would occasionally plop one) and then I would deal with them. Strangely they were a little easier to deal with after they had sat for awhile, I think.

    This.

And we use the disposable liners when we are traveling anywhere without a sprayer.
