Hi all. I am having some trouble finding information on how much milk to give my 11 month old baby. I am returning to school this semester and will not have as many opportunities to pump. Two days I will be gone for about 8-9 hours and can probably pump once, and the other two will be about 5-6 hours in the evening and I won't be able to pump until I get home. I am not necessarily trying to wean my daughter, and she is sensitive/allergic to dairy so I won't be transitioning to cows milk. She seems to do ok with soy milk when mixed with other things though. She also really likes water.
Right now she nurses about an hour before she wakes up, before each of her two naps, occasionally between nap two, before bed, and a couple times at night. Would it be ok to just leave one 5oz bottle for the day time, and hopefully I can just nurse her when I get home around 4 for her 2nd nap, and then one 5oz bottle for the evenings I'm gone? For the between nap and dinner nurse, is it ok to just replace it with a snack or earlier dinner for the two nights a week I'm gone? Does 5oz seem like too little? That's how much she was doing when I was in school last semester, but that was a few months ago now.
One DD born 9/23/13.

Re: how much/how often expressed milk for 11month old?
As far as solids go, she's kind of picky. I give her a variety of foods, but I have to be sneaky to get her to eat veggies and fruit is even harder. I've always offered it to her, but she has always been reluctant at best to eat anything other than meat, carbs, and soup!
Not that I am eager for breastfeeding to end, but I can't wait until I don't have to worry about how much milk I need to leave for her/pump!

have you tried different preparations of fruits and veggies? like smoothies or creamy soups with pureed veggies? dried or freeze-dried fruit rather than fresh? frozen fruit or veggies? or tempting dipping options, like hummus, dressing, or peanut butter? i would just keep offering a variety of healthy options including fruit and veggies at every meal. all kids go through picky phases.
