  I will get us started...I am thankful for DH who keeps my feet on the ground and pushes me to succeed when I would rather play on Pinterest than do my homework.  

  
  

  I am also thankful for my boss who is very open with me and has created an environment where I feel safe letting him know when decisions he's made are not working (as long as I come with solutions and not just problems).

  
  

  I'm thankful for fall returning and the fact that Starbucks is releasing the Pumpkin Spice Latte early this year.

  I am thankful for my boss and the company I work for.  They are allowing me to do double-duty as part time administrator (cut hours at my current full-time job) and part time therapist intern, all while keeping my insurance benefits. I'm only working 24hrs for my paid position, when typical benefits-eligible employees have to work 30 hours. The exception they're making for me allows me to do IF treatment instead of having to wait a year until I get insurance back after this internship. YAY!

  I'm thankful that my finger is (mostly) better and I can wear my engagement ring again! It's a little on the loose side usually, so I can wear it now. Still can't wear my wedding band (it's on the slightly tighter side usually), but I'm happy to be able to wear one of the rings I'm also thankful that I will see my husband a week from Saturday! (Leave on Wednesday, but driving, so it takes a while).

  I'm thankful for the internet because it helps me get answers to questions I wouldn't otherwise get without a lot of work, or maybe not at all. Also because of it the interwebs I can keep in touch with friends and family easier than I could otherwise and therefore have deeper relationships with them

  I'm thankful that my company is buying much for the next 2 months while I work on an intense project -- one less thing to have to think about.

  So much good news here, lovely to hear! @lindseym2012 What an awesome solution at work. @emilee871 Amen to that! I think back on "barren" women of history and how they were treated and realize that would have been me. @kmdecoux Yum pumpkin! With the random cool weeks of summer we had, I was really jonesing for fall.

  I am thankful that it's almost fall and time for all things pumpkin! I am also thankful for my job and that I have a very flexible schedule that accommodates my RE appointments. I am thankful for a supportive husband who loves me. I am thankful for coffee even if I have switched to decaf!

  Most of all I am thankful that I can trust God and the plan that He has for my life!

  January 2010 SA results: Count 16 million, Motility 40%, Morphology 2%
  January 2010- Surprise BFP! DS born 10/1/2010

  September 2013 Repeat SA: Count= 1.7 million, Motility= 24%, Morphology= 2%
  November 6th 1st Appointment with RE: diagnosed with severe MFI
  Testing to try to determine a cause & possible treatment for MFI
  CD 3 blood work for me. RE does not want to repeat my HSG/lap at this point,
  but may want to before moving forward with any fertility treatments.
  After seeing the uro, DH is currently taking lots of supplements and clomid to try to boost his count. We will have a repeat SA in February to see if it works.
  Follow up SA numbers are: Count= 4 million, Motility= 40%, Morphology= 1%
  Uro wants us to have another follow up SA 5/9 to see if we see further improvement than we are back to the RE to make a game plan.

  SA 5/9/2014 Count: 12 Million, Motility: 60%, and Morphology 2%. We will be doing iui #1 in late June

  IUI #1 6/28 clomid + ovidrel, post wash count 3 million total sperm= BFN

  IUI # 2 7/21 clomid+ ovidrel. post wash count 900,000 total sperm= BFN

  IVF planned for early November- cancelled due to cyst

  December IVF #1- 22 eggs, 20 mature,16 fertilized

  I'm thankful for my husband, who loves me and supports me even though it seems like I'm always stressed out/upset/worried/sad. Sometimes I take all this out on him, which isn't fair because he's going through the same IF journey I'm going through and therefore has his own reasons to feel sad.

  
  

  I'm also thankful for roller derby! It gives me something non-IF related to think about and it gets me out of the house to do some exercise, even on days when I'm tempted to stay on the couch.

  My husband was diagnosed with state IV colon cancer in 2009. Surgery and six rounds of chemo left him in remission (yay!) but with low testosterone. He took Androgel for two years starting in Jan 2011.

  -SA in Jan 2013: big fat zero; stopped Androgel

  -varicocelectomy in June 2013

  -SA in Dec 2013: 23mil/ml, really low morph

  -SA in March 2014: Count doubled! Morphology apparently no longer an issue.

  June 2014: TI (clomid/bravelle/ovidrel: 2 folliclces) = BFN

  • that MH puts up with my bouts of extreme moodiness. A lot of it comes out as (justified) frustration with his boys, though I may overreact sometimes.
    
  • that his older son is moving into an apartment and it looks like the younger one will not be too far behind. MH and I need time and space for ourselves and the boys need to learn to live independently.
    
  • for my extremely flexible job. Although I get no paid holidays or vacation, it allows me to take care of treatment on short notice.

  I'm thankful for my DH that is always there for me no matter what. I'm thankful we live in a time and place were a woman with IF doesn't have to live her life childless. But through some work and time we can eventually become a mom.

  I am thankful for my new RE. I have a consistent doctor that I see but even if she is not available all the doctors in the practice are great. The last time I went my BP was actually normal. I feel like I'm in good hands! Finally!!!
  
  I am thankful for my students this semester so far they seem like a great bunch. Most of them even had the book on the first day of class. I love Fall semester.
  
  I am also thankful for my brother who is finally starting understand the pain and anxiety I feel with IF. He even volunteered to ride with me to my RE's office so I could get in the carpool lane and avoid the horrible LA traffic.

  Me: +35 DH: +35

  TTC: Since January 2013 

  DX: PCOS. Severe Endometriosis, Unicornuate Uterus w/only left tube and left ovary, Pedunculated fibroid (on the outside of uterus) and Anovulation. All conditions diagnosed 8/13

  TX: Metformin

  DH DX: MFI - low morphology, low motility

  Ultrasound shows both kidneys in spite of UU. 

  HSG showed clear tube on the left side. 

  Lap Surgery performed 1/9/14 to remove fibroid and endo (Stage 3)

  • IUI# 1 June 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 13: BFN
  • IUI#2  July 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 5.75: BFN
  • Natural Cycle - so shocked to be in 2WW - 7dpo Progesterone: 15.5: BFN
  • Working with new RE starting injectables in late August.
  • IUI #3 August 2014  w/ Menopur: BFN
  • Finally ovulating on my own!!

  I'm thankful for my sweet Jack Russell terrier Jasmine. She's such a joy and I don't know what I would do without her.
  
  I'm thankful for wine which has been a great friend to me in the last few weeks! Since I'm not trying now, I've been drinking quite a bit. In the last week, there have probably been3 nights (at least) when DH and I finished an entire bottle throughout the evening. Yikes! Time to slow down ... LOL

  June 2014 - Clomid 150mg CD4-8.  HCG shot CD14.  IUI#2 done on 6/9 and 6/10 (CD15-16) w/ Prometrium suppositories during TWW .... BFN

  July 2014 - Clomid 150mg CD3-7.  Ultrasound CD12 - 4 mature follies! HCG trigger shot CD12 AM.  IUI#3 on CD13 w/ Prometrium suppositories during TWW ....BFN

  July 2014 - Repeat ultrasound done to measure size of fibroid - 8x9cm (the size of a grapefruit!) Surgery referral made.

  August 2014 - MRI done which revealed 2 fibroids: a 13x15cm fibroid as well as an 8x7cm one.  Super freak out mode over surgery plan.  OB-GYN/surgeon said surgery would most likely have to be a laparotomy (open abdominal surgery)

  August 2014 - After a 2nd opinion, plan to take Lupron x 2 months to shrink fibroids then laparoscopic/robotic myomectomy.  Surgery date is set for Nov 21st!  

  November 2014 - Robotic myomectomy done (2 large fibroids removed, mild endo found).  Benched x 3 months
