3rd Ultrasound

Am I the only one with a stubborn baby... He is laying breached and will not rollover for the ultrasound tech to get some of the pictures she needs. I started to get worried becaue this is our third one... one at 20 weeks then another one four weeks later and just had to schedule another one for the 8th. The doctor said it's normal and ok but everyone else can't believe we have had three and that most people only have two the whole time. Anyone else had more ultrasound?

I had to do 3 before we found out the sex. Our little one is very stubborn!

I had one at 9 weeks, 21 weeks, and today (25 weeks). They couldn't get a good picture of the spine at 21 weeks so that's why we did one today. Found out today that Baby is small, so they will be monitoring more closely which I am assuming will mean more ultrasounds. So I think it just depends on the pictures they can get and your doctor. I definitely wouldn't worry about it.

Yah it's the picture or the spine they can't get too... So we will see have a dr. Appointment soon so I will ask about it then

I have had one at every appt since 12 weeks and will have one each time up until 36 weeks.

I've had seven. A dating ultrasound at seven weeks, one for the NT scan at thirteen weeks, one in the ER after some bleeding at fifteen weeks, One to look for soft markers after bloodwork showed high risk for Down syndrome, one to do an amnio, one for my anatomy scan, another one in the ER for bleeding. I have another one tomorrow, a follow up from the amnio.

I've already had 5- at least 2 more to come. Mine is stubborn too, but only with covering her face, facing backwards so we can't get many cute face shots!

Yah for the 2nd ultrasound he was in the same position too... I am guessing the doctor did not like what he got.. They are trying to get the spine... We will see on this third one if he is in a different position.... I do like getting pictures of the little guy however :-)

Was supposed to have only two (12w & 20w), but I got diagnosed with GD early and have to do growth checks every month until week 32, then it's every week. Also had to do 2 AS because DD wasn't cooperating. I really only wanted the two. Oh well.

I had u/s at 6, 8, 10 weeks with the RE. Once I was released to the OB, I have had 1 at every appointment since 11 weeks. I have a low lying placenta and with the previous 3rd tri loss, the OB is monitoring baby very closely to measure fluid, cervix and growth.

Hope your little guy will cooperate this time.

I've had around five so far, I think. I plan to do another elective 3D around 30 weeks.

I have had four and am 25 weeks everything is perfectly healthy but my baby boy seems to be on the stubborn side too lol

I've had 4. 8 weeks dating ultrasound, NT scan at 12 weeks, cervix check at 18 weeks, and anatomy scan at 20 weeks. I get one more at 28 weeks to check for placenta movement since mine was low.

Still trying to decide if we're going to do an elective 3D ultrasound somewhere, but probably not.

I am scheduled for number 11 next week, but am high risk. I will have them every 2 weeks. He is perfect, though.

I had one to confirm (due to PCOS) at 7 weeks, one at 12 or 13 weeks, one at 18 weeks. I'm having another on the 8th, and I'll have several more after that.

I'm plus size and I have hormone problems, so they can't measure my stomach or get reliable readings that way. They can only measure and check on baby with ultrasounds! Luckily, I have the new health insurance and I've already hit my out-of-pocket maximum for the year otherwise I'd really be struggling.

I think im almost at double digits :-O First there was a vanishing twin, then a special one to see the sex, then because of my car accident. I've had a lot of extra ones so 3 seems so small to me! Don't worry!

Well it will be my 6th I had one at 7 weeks one at 12, 16 and then now the three anatomy ultrasounds at 20, 24, and soon at 27. I am not so much worried about the ultrasound but why it's taking them so long to get good pictures and if they see something that they are checking on but they told me everything is ok... I am sure it is... Just so easy to worry Thanks for all the help and good luck to everyone else.

Next week I will have my fourth. First was to get GA at around 9 weeks, second at 12 weeks to get the heart beat and at my 20 week scan he was breech and napping so they couldn't see his diaphragm or lower half of his spine! Hopefully he will be awake for my appointment next week!

1 dating, second scan baby was looking towards my back and the tech couldnt get a face profile and a good shot of the heart and the sex.. have to go back in sept.

I know this is a few days old.. Do you mean a 3rd u/s just for the a/s to be completed? I had 3 specifically for the a/s.. Almost thought it would be 4. They couldn't get baby to move enough to get pics of its head. The little booger had its hands crossed over its face. H/she must obviously get that stubbornness from his/her father...

Going back it Tuesday for second scan, they couldn't see his profile last time, but I've seen DS 4 times, bc my ob likes to confirm right away with u/s and then again at 12 weeks

We had to go back and very nearly had to schedule a third US, but the tech was able to get the few final shots after 45 minutes of trying. Our LO was moving so much that it was hard to get a clear shot and then curled up in a ball and hid.

One at 10w for viability, 19w a/s, and my third one will be at the end of this month to check the placement of the placenta to the cervix.

We had one at 6w6d, 8w3d, 11w, 12w3d, 12w5d,18w3d, 23w and I have growth scans and cervical check us scheduled for 27w and 31w.

I had 6 (I think) u/s. Two were for the anatomy scan. When I went for the NTscan, they couldn't get the measurements then either. I opted not to go for a second one of those because I was having the Harmony test done anyway, which would give more definitive results. Basically, my kid is not cooperative at all. S/he was looking at the camera - so to speak- during the AS so we couldn't do half of the measurements... so kids just want to be positioned a certain way... just keep doing what you have to do.

I've had two anatomy scans so far, but the second was during my fetal echocardiogram at 24 weeks due to my type II. I have a growth scan scheduled for the 18th at 28 weeks, then we'll see how my blood sugars are. If I don't have to go on meds (unlikely as my sugars have been creeping up), then I'll still do once a month. If I go on meds, then every week.

I had one at 7 weeks to conform pregnancy, one at 11to check heartbeat, one at 13 and 14 for Nuchal Translucency test, one at 15 because baby hid from Doppler, and one at 20 for a/s. I think that's it for me. I miss seeing her grow-but if all is well and I don't need another-I won't complain.

. Well...maybe a little. LoL.
