Thank you guys. Taking 1/2 tablet at bedtime seems to help through the worse nausea + I get the benefit of sleeping through the night. I worry I'm becoming too reliant on it. Going to ask dr if it's safe to take most nights. I'm 17 weeks now and feel the worst at night.
I took it with B6 in the morning and at night every day during 1st and 2nd tri during my pregnancy with DS and it was fine. I'm on Diclegis now (basically the same thing) but I also take 1/2 a Unisom occasionally to help me sleep. Also took it towards the end of my pregnancy with DS to help sleep when I got really uncomfortable.

I take 1 zofran during the day, since my insurance only pays for 6 of them, I have to purchase my other refills at $38 a pop for 6 more. And since I only take one Zofran per day, my nausea tends to rear its ugly head at night around 7:00pm. So I take a unisom and B complex vitamin every night, and that does the trick until I need to take another Zofran at 9:00am.
Unisom is an antihistamine, like Benedryl, where a side effect is drowsiness so it's been marketed as a sleep aid. So thankfully it's not something you can get dependent on like other sleep aids.
My doctors recommended trying ginger ale and crackers while laying in bed before sleeping and before getting up. Or trying Vicks vapor rub. I used the Vicks for a week and it helped with my nausea And I was finally sleeping all night. good luck!
