What are you looking for out of an OB? Do you want a big or a small practice? A natural birth advocate? What's important to you, and what part of town?
You should thoroughly google the first one you mentioned. I know people liked him in the past, but I wouldn't use him.
Looks like his license is in jeopardy. I really wish the court docs weren't suppressed on the assault case(s?) against him. Not to mention the malpractice lawsuit.
I've heard on this forum that it was a nurse who made an advance on him and wasn't received so she got mad. I'm not really sure but I know friends that love him. I want a small practice which is why I like the second one. I worry with the first bc he is by himself and what are the chances he would deliver my baby.
If you read the document attached to the license review (https://med.ohio.gov/formala/35065417.pdf), there were two different patients, and no mention of a nurse. There's also the HGC malpractice suit. I don't know why you'd take the chance.
Froehlich is amazing! Very doula friendly and supportive of vbacs. He will take the time to answer all of your questions, answer his cel phone 24/7, and his nurses are great. I wouldn't trade him for the world!
