I was just wondering if any of you had recommendations for baby monitors. My DS is almost 14 months and before he was born I did lots of research on monitors. We ended up with a Motorola Video monitor with a tilt camera and the sound just went out on it. It's barely ever been used since DS hasn't been in his own room for very long (maybe 6 weeks). We are getting ready to go out of town on Wed, so I need to get on buying a replacement ASAP. TIA!
We had a Motorola MBP43-2 with two cameras and just returned it to BRU because of connectivity issues. I loved it otherwise. We decided to try the new Summer Infant Dual screen monitor wih two cameras. So far I really like it, but if we end up taking it back I'll probably get another Motorola.
I recommended a regular IP web camera and an app on a phone/iPad. It's more secure and way cheaper. And it does sound (though you can always get a reg sound monitor as well).
No problem. I just looked up the one I have. I'm going to post the link below. I like it because we can restrict users so that you can only access the video feed if you are connected to our wifi network, making it pretty secure.
