Girl name help!

We are having a hard time between Gemma/Jemma or Scarlett. What are your thoughts? Between Gemma or Jemma which spelling do you like most? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I like Gemma better too but DH doesn't like the G spelling and I don't like the J. So we are at a standstill.

I once knew a Jemma, but it was a nickname short for James. (Yes, a girl named James.) In general I like Gemma better.

Why doesn't he like the G?

@wintersong139‌ he always thought it was spelled with a J so when he saw the G he thought it looked weird. I showed him this blog and there are other ones where everyone thinks it looks better spelled with a G so I think he's convinced. Plus he's a geologist so you think he'd want it spelled like gem. But he FINALLY agrees! So I think we'll go with Gemma Margaret.

I LOVE the name Margaret. I'm pretty sure it means "pearl", so your baby will have a doubly precious name. :-)

That's awesome! I had no idea it meant that. My DD's middle name is Ruby so that's perfect. Ruby is my grandma's name and Margaret is DH's grandma's name.
