Hopkinton, MA moms

We are relocating to Hopkinton, MA and I am looking for local moms to connect with. We have a 22 month old daughter. I have noticed several online mom's groups in the area and they charge membership fees. I am currently a part of a few online groups in the boston area that don't charge and am wondering if anyone has experience with these groups or knows of others. We will need help finding babysitters...any recommendations?!?! Thanks for your help!

    I don't live in Hopkinton, but I know that they have a few facebook groups that might help you connect. There's actually one called "The Real Housewives of Hopkinton" ;-)

    I live in Ashland and Holliston Babysitting Network is a good group on Facebook for the area for babysitting. PM me if you would like to connect :) I'm looking for mom groups as well and not sure of any. I have a 7 week old little lady

    I live in Hopkinton and have a 10.5 month old boy. Welcome to the town!! 

    I can't say that I know a ton of people but I will tell you that the HopMom's group is well worth the $40 or so a year. Tons of events for moms and kids of all ages, you have a built in support group if you're looking for recommendations on local workers like plumbers, carpenters etc etc a lot of them have high schoolers that babysit or have experience with local babysitters they can recommend and they send out a great newsletter every month that details what things are going on in our town and around the area. 

    I have found it SO helpful and there's a coordinator that helps you connect with other moms with kids around your age - that's how I found my current playgroup and they've been an invaluable resource.
