How much formula?

My girls are just over 9 months old...how much formula should they be getting? They get 3 bottles a day with 6-8 oz. each. Is that about right? 3 meals a day are "food"---oatmeal, fruit, veggies, etc. When do you start to cut down the formula to less bottles? Thanks!

    We cut down when LO was ready to cut down. All kids are kind of different. At 9 months we still did a wake up bottle, a mid morning bottle, a later afternoon bottle and a nighttime bottle- with a  random middle of the night bottle here and there. 

    At about 11 months I started pairing down his mid morning and late afternoon bottle to less oz.

    B eats about 4-5oz every 3-4 hours ( during the day) still with three solid meals a day. Amounts to about the same formula per day as your LO. We let her call the shots with cutting down.
    Can't figure out the signature thing, so here's the short, short version.....first daughter born on November 10, 2013. She was conceived through the magic of IVF after 2+ years of TTC.

    DS is self weaning the formula. Each bottle he's taking less, and eating more at his meals + snack. Right now he drinks about 20 oz a day of formula spread over 4 bottles.

    Sorry I posted and ran---- Based on your feedback, I feel like we are doing OK. I know they usually are done with formula at a year, so I wasn't sure when to scale back. Thanks everyone!
