So, take deep breaths and relax. I think you might be overreacting.
LOL. This is how it is at almost every one of my doctor's appointments. Seriously. It's annoying as hell. I have to plan 3 hours on the days I'm getting an ultrasound and seeing the doctor. My friend, who goes to another clinic in our area, says it is fairly common. I have to go up and ask them how long the wait is going to be and, depending on why they are running behind schedule, they may or may not be able to tell me.
I don't see the problem here. I don't want to draw puffy hearts around the names of every nurse at my clinic. I'm neutral with them. Do you think she's competent in her job? If so, there's no problem.
This is standard practice at many clinics. I know how it is being with an RE before where you are really informed on every little test and procedure, but I can tell you right now that OBs are usually a lot busier and don't have that attention to detail.
If they're not OK, they will tell you. Once again, this is standard procedure. You know how long it would take to call every single patient with "normal" test results. I've learned that no news is good news. (Once again, I know -- as a former IF patient -- how hard it is to accept this).
I haven't taken my glucose test, but I'm assuming if I passed they will not call me. If they say they are going to call you back later in the day, give them until close of business.
She probably is. It's your job to come prepared with all your questions and as long as she doesn't run out of the room before answering them, I don't see the problem. I'm not quite sure what you can expect of her

In terms of the nurse, you may very likely have a different L&D nurse, and I loved mine more than the nurses at my midwives' office. Also, if you are a little worried about your rapport with the doc, I had a midwife that I didn't particularly like during prenatal appointments, but she did a fantastic job during delivery. At the office she was always a little rushed and hurried, but when I was in labor, it was n entirely different approach. She had all of the time in the world it seemed for my son to be born stayed late to make sure that she could get me through the birth, and I realized that dedication to making sure my baby comes out as healthy and as stress free as possible probably plays a part in the rushed feeling at the office because she has a million things to do.
Of course, if you are not comfortable with your provider, or if they are dropping the ball so to speak, you can test the waters at other places or with other providers. But I think that barring any of that, I would stay put. You may be pleasantly surprised come baby time.
