Outsider assistance please

SS 16 lives on army base w BM and step dad. SS was charged with assault this week against step dad. I'm not familiar with terminology but he will need to appear in front of a 2 star general to learn his punishment. Anyone know of a similar situation? What possible punishments could be handed out? I'm afraid she's going to send SS to us without much notice. Thanks in advance for any info you feel comfortable sharing.

    Have you figured anything out? I would think that if he was charged with assault he should have some sort of representation that would be able to explain all of this and the possible outcomes.
