STMs-- why is this happening already?!?

First off- let me apologize for being super MIA lately. Between my grandma passing away, two trips to Vancouver over the last 6 weeks, and horrendous days of puking, I feel like Ive been under water for the last 2 months. Hoping to be more active on this awesome board again!

STMs- do you feel like shitty things are happening wayyy sooner this time around?

My stretch marks got dark again as soon as my belly started to show.

And I am constipated and hemis have started to make their appearance already! This didn't happen until well into the third tri last time. WTF?!

Anyone else experiencing this nonsense?

I completely agree with this. I'm already having aches and pains that keep me up at night. My belly line is already dark and congestion is kicking my butt.

I know!! People always talk about pregnancies being different. But I do NOT remember my first being this tough. Im sure chasing after a toddler isn't helping, but I could legit still be sleeping 20 hours a day if it was possible!

Oh geez @miniwheat10 I haven't had any heartburn or trouble sleeping yet, but I know its coming. You poor thing!!

Its unreal how our bodies remember. Unreal... and evil.

I'm in the same boat. TTM...I don't remember the first two pregnancies being this bad. I ache, my digestive track is all sorts of messed up, and sleeping -- I can either sleep for 15 hours or not at all! I bought my body pillow several weeks ago....my husband hates it. He keeps calling it his replacement and says it swears at him and stares at him funny. lol

Feel better and I am so sorry about your grandmothers passing

This pregnancy is completely different than my first and sucking much more. I LOVED being pregnant first time around, this time...not so much. Nausea and tiredness all set in much earlier and lasted longer. I also look like a 13 year old with this pregnancy acne. Plus there's the whole running after/cleaning up after/carrying a toddler thing to contend with instead of taking a nap a day like I did with the first...

I blame all of the crappy stuff on muscle memory. Your body knows what it is in for and is just doing it earlier because it remembers. I hate it.

And YES! I loved being pregnant with DD and couldn't wait to be pregnant again. But I get winded carrying Ella for 2 minutes, this heat is killing me, and I am so tired!

I am hoping the further we get into 2nd tri, the more energy we will get back, at least for a little while? Fingers crossed!

My second pregnancy was SO HARD. I was miserable practically the whole 9 mo. Awful hems, bad constipation, nauseous all day long.

My second was awful..... But the good news is that if you go for three, apparently your body just kind of rolls with it.

This pregnancy is so much easier than my first. I absolutely hated pregnancy, until this one. However, my hips already hurt and I feel like I waddle to compensate. I am not even big enough to wear maternity clothes and I am sore. I am also struggling to sit up from a lying down position. This never happened with DD. This time I have to roll to my side to try to get out of bed!

My heartburn started like right away and then stopped for a couple weeks. Now it is back with a vengeance. I had heartburn last time but this is way worse. I am a lot more tired and achy this time around. This weekend I was getting some horrible pains in my rib area and I was thinking "I don't remember this from last time". I hated being pregnant last time and the feeling certainly hasn't changed lol.

I had it pretty easy last time. This time I do feel like things that happened in the 3rd tri last time, are already happening. Peeing way more often, not sleeping well, aches and pains. And the new symptom is headaches. I do not remember these from last time.

Not to mention I already feel huge!

The puking started a month earlier this time (which sucks b/c I had morning sickness til the day I delivered my DD!) So yeah, I would agree that everything seems to be starting earlier. The plus side though is that this time I at least know what to do about it all. Last pregnancy I didn't start the colace until around 34 weeks!! Do you know how much discomfort I could have avoided if I had thought to start that sooner?? This time - started on it as soon as I had issues

So maybe there's a silver lining somewhere there? Or at least that's what I tell myself as I hug the toilet each morning

@Stephanie2378‌ I so agree with the being exhausted this time around! I was 20 and 20 (no not a typo!) when mine were born and this time it's so different! My kids say I already waddle and asking me to get up from the floor?? Ugh...lol

oh yeah. so many things happening so much sooner and more intensely than last time! I was hoping my body had kinda "forgotten" since it's been so long ---hahaha not so much!
