My 12 week ultrasound

Hey ladies,
I just got my 12 week screen testing done an bub has grown so much :) I was just wondering if we were ment to hear a heart beat at this ultrasound or not? Should the lady have measured the heart beat for me at lest? :( I'm a little bit nervous there is something wrong but she did say(see that little flicker there that's the heart beat.) My partner an I did not see the flicker. The lady was going to fast or something!Do you think I'm just stressing to much?

    Yes she can't say see the flicker heart beat if there is nothing. They will not let you leave if there was something had trust me I have had one of those and they are not fun. If this was your first ultrasound then they typically go pretty fast since there isn't much to see.

    It's my 3rd ultrasound. I think the lady was just a rush or something. Just was hoping to hear a heart beat at this stage but guess I can wait a little longer.

    I agree with PP, if something was wrong, she wouldn't be able to say "see?" Have you considered buying a Doppler? That might ease your mind a little (since you'll be able to hear you LO's heartbeat whenever you want) Try not to worry in the meantime.
