Since I know we are all
bumpaholics workaholics
tell me what you have been doing this week
What exercising did you do?
Did you accomplish your goals?
GTKY: and in the interest of NOT working... what do you plan to do when you retire (since I am already dreaming of that day)
Re: Workout Wednesday!!!
I did my best with my goals. Work has been crazy, but I've been moving when I can.
Good question on retirement. We want to move out West, would we just stay there? A beach house in Mexico instead? I have no idea.
I am finally getting my energy back and not so exhausted that I crash right after work and I'm so excited to start working out again. I did yoga yesterday morning. It was a very mild relaxing class but it was stretching and movement! Tonight hubby and I are going to the gym for the first time in months! I plan on walking a mile and then doing about 20 min on the elliptical.
Retirement feels so far away (and literally it is... probably another 25-30 yrs??) that I really cant wrap my mind around any plans at all. I'm sure our lives will be so very different by then. All I can imagine is that I want to spend lots of time with my sweet hubby and I'm sure we will travel often.
Haven't even thought of retiring, lol! With our economy, I wonder if by then any of us will be able to retire!
PS. @Irishcurls I live in NC....smack dab in the middle so it is about the same distance to both the beach and the mountains and it is great. We still love CO though.
I did not accomplish my goal.
My goal is to work out 6 days a week. This week I only made 5 days. Tbh, I just really needed an extra rest day so I took one. Technically, the 6 days a week was my first tri goal and I planned to re-evaluate once I hit second tri. Now that I'm here, I hate to change that goal because that has been my routine for so long. I think I will still aim for 6 days but will just listen to my body and not feel bad if I have to take an extra rest day here and there.
I'm a SAHM so retirement planning is really more about when DH retires. I may go bad to work at some point but probably never more than part time. Anyway, we love where we live and we love our house. We'd be happy to just retire, live in a paid off house and travel lots. That sounds perfect to me.
Still hitting 3-4xs week for workouts and then getting at least 10,000 steps a day.
Im excited because I am going to join a prenatal fitness center in Sept and they do barre, yoga, pilates and bootcamp!
No idea about retirement!
The target race for the training group is on Jan 10. I'm not due until Feb 28. I asked my Dr about it - she didn't say that I can't run the race, just that I won't feel like it.
No, I didn't accomplish my fitness goals today. But I did get all the laundry folded and cooked a healthy dinner.
GTKY: that's SO far away hah, but perhaps I'd live on a beach relaxing.
