4 year old boy bday gift

Any tips for a bday gift for a boy turning 4? It is for my DH's boss's son. $20-25 range. I could go up to $30. Thanks!

    My 5yo was really into those Animal Planet buckets of animals and playsets at that age and still loves them!

    We just went to a 4 year old bday party today.  He is into ninja turtles.  we got him a set of nunchucks, mask and flying discs.  It was with all the ninja turtle stuff in the boys toys at target.

    Mine just turned 4 and is totally into superheroes but I think it's hard if you don't know that they like something like that specifically.  My husband says you can never go wrong with a radio controlled car and I'm starting to agree!

    Ditto Earlybird725.  My DS LOVES Rescue Bots.  He is also into anything and everything superheros!  He is also into Flip-n-Go Dinos.  His favorite games right now are Go Fish, Memory (Spider-Man version of course) and Chutes and Ladders.   
    DD~6 years old~born June 6, 2008 (1st grade)
    DS~4 years old~born November 6, 2010 (1st year of preschool)

    Imaginext or Superheros. I agree that not all superheroes are created equally. Spiderman, Batman, and Captain America are the current favorites.  DS loves anything having to do with pirates. Matchbox cars with tracks are a big hit (please do not buy the track that hangs on the wall for another person, though). We have a few radio control items and he really likes them.

    Melissa and Doug has a good variety of dress-up clothes for girls and boys.  Just bought the construction worker one from Khols for $15, it was $23 and I had a coupon.
