AW: NT scan and stuff

We had out NT scan today. It was AMAZING! We got to see the prawn wiggling around and waving at us! And midway through, the u/s tech asked if we wanted to know the sex! I didn't even think you could tell this early, but the prawn was quite accommodating and our tech said we're having a boy!
She is apparently about 95% accurate, according to my doctor, my mom (the head midwife at the practice), and all the nurses. And she wouldn't have said anything at all if she wasn't confident. Of course, we will confirm at the anatomy scan.
So excited! This has been the best day ever, and DH was able to be there with me for the news! Plusalso, I got a new job! Not the one I applied for, but one I'm actually more excited about. I'll be doing habilitative support /developmental therapy for little kids at a local Montessori school that has a stellar reputation. Monday through Friday! Holidays off! No shift work! No violence, being cursed at, or having people trying to kill themselves on my shift! Woohoo!
I'm just feeling really happy and excited right now, and I needed to explode it all over the bump. What is making YOU happy today, marchies?

And wasn't the needing to pee part just awful? Prawn wasn't moving enough at first, so I had to get up and move around. Then after, I had to pee so much worse! Worth it, of course!

My tech last Fri tried to see if he could tell the sex of the baby because my SO told him he was hoping for a boy. We didn't see anything in between the legs...but he said things could change in between now & 20 week u/s. :P
