Any WMs with a child starting Kindergarten?

I realize our babes are all ages here but checking to see if anyone is facing the new ground of kindergarten this week or next.

My DS starts full day K on Tuesday! I am seriously nostalgic for those baby days and excited for him all at the same time. He is pumped to get going. I am nervous and trying to figure out how not to cry when he goes off (at least til I get in the car!!).

Me! DS started yesterday. I was actually much more composed than I thought I would be. Today was actually a little tougher putting him on the bus, but I'm surviving okay. Hope it goes well for you!

Me, too! DD starts next Tuesday. I think I am more nervous than she is.

I am also stressed about the logistics of two pickups/drop offs, which I know we will sort out within a couple weeks but it all seems daunting right now.

My DD starts 3 year old preschool next week. It's just two mornings a week, but I'm so nervous!!!

DS started kindergarten at the beginning of August. I thought I might be teary, but actually I was excited.

Me! My oldest (DS) starts young 5's K next Tuesday. I think he's excited. I'm kind of overwhelmed. But he is going to his regular DCP for before and after school care, so I think that will help the transition. I feel much better that he can get a quick snack before school and be able to rest once he gets to her house after school. I'm sure I will cry on the first day, so I just need to remember to put on my waterproof mascara that morning and put tissues in my purse.

My third starts K3 next Thursday. It's everyday but only for like two and a half hours so not "real" school yet. He's excited and I'm excited for him but geez, can they just slow it down a bit? My kids are growing up way too fast.

My oldest started kindergarden this week. I'm excited about it, and he seems to love it so far. He has been going to "school" as long as he can remember, so it's NBD for him.

Dd is in 1st grade and she loves school! And I love being at work knowing she is learning and making friends!

My oldest will start full day kindergarten whenever our teacher strike ends....I'm truly excited for her! She is going to love it and she'll do really well. My DS will start K next year, and I'm a little more apprehensive for him because he's a young kindergartener. They've both been in full day daycare since age 1, so the act of going to school will be NBD, they'll just adjust to the curriculum differently!
