Middle name opinions

We've pretty much decided on a first name, but we're now in the throes of changing the middle name we had had picked out since before DD1 was born (had she been a boy). We have loved Alexander for years, but DH's boss whom he never got along with and who let him go from his job in December was named Alex, so bad mojo with that name now.

We've narrowed it down to two choices that we like, so I'm just looking for some thoughts on these two name combinations. We have a Polish last name that starts with a Z.

Garek Nicholas
Garek Quentin

    I would choose Nicholas because my mouth kind of stumbles over the k-q together.

    Garek is the Polish spelling and I like it better.

    Agree with others. I get honoring heritage but I would still use Garrick if he will be growing up in the US. 

    Garrick Nicholas is great. I can't say Garrick Quinton easily because of the K/Q sounds.
