Gagging Herself??

Layla has always been fond of her hands in her mouth, bit here lately she sticks them so far in that she starts gagging. It happens mostly at meal times. Tonight we had spaghetti, and she gagged herself till she vomited. I move her hands out of her mouth repeatedly, but she laughs and immediately does it again. I'm not sure if she has a piece of food stuck that she is trying to get or what. It doesn't matter what I give her... Fruit, puffs, cheese, meat, peas... She does it all the time. Any ideas or tips on how to get her to stop??

DS was just doing this tonight at dinner! We just tried to redirect him. I think DS was just fascinated by his new trick. I vaguely remember DD doing this. If I remember right the intrigue wore off and she realized she didn't like throwing up and it stopped.

M has done this before as well. I just try to take her hands away from her mouth and redirect her with a toy. It hasn't happened in a while, though, so maybe it is just a phase they go through.

Same. She gagged herself this morning and threw up her yogurt. Yuck. I just constantly redirect. She smiles when she's doing it. I think she thinks it's a game. Hopefully it'll pass!
