Im not to sure if this has been discussed before as i am unable to search. But when did you guys set up your babys nursery? Im just dying to get started! But im only 24 weeks on wednesday and my husband thinks we should wait a month.
She will be sleeping in her bassinet with beside us for 3 months or so, but i just want her to have her own little room which is fun for us to decorate !
If you want to help, the earlier the better IMO. I wouldn't want to be doing too much with a giant belly! Plus I'm a little OCD, and want things done ASAP
We just got our chair and are in the process of picking out paint. I'm itching to have it done. My goal is to paint this weekend and get our furniture in (My sister is giving me hers). Then we'll just need our rug and art work.
Haven't started it yet. In fact, I have NO IDEA what I want to do for it. I'm completely clueless. DH gave me a timeline, he said I have to choose colors by the end of September. He wants to get started in October on it.
Um...I will be 25 weeks tomorrow and the nursery is almost done! I just have to hang the collage over the dresser, but I can't do that until we decide on a name! I am kinda OCD about getting things done
Haven't moved into our new house yet so as soon as we do, I'll be starting on his room! It's driving me crazy not to be able to but I know it'll be perfect once I finish
I'm 24 weeks and am 90% done. Just need to hang curtains and order prints for the room. I don't understand the need to wait. Like PPs said, do whatever you want. I couldn't wait to get the nursery together.

I've been putting together the nursery little by little every day. It gives me something to do when I'm home. Plus I have this vision of what it's going to look like when it's done. I'm going with vintage chic for my baby girl.
24 weeks here and paint is up as is crib need to wash bedding and get it one still. Closet cleaning this weekend is my goal but we'll see how I feel. I wanted to get most if not all of it done before my third trimester so I can spend that time relaxing and mentally preparing myself for birth and new baby.
I don't think there's a right or wrong answer. Start working on it when you're ready. Obviously the later you wait, the more rushed you'll feel. We didn't start working on DD's until around 30 weeks. This time we started a couple weeks ago. We've painted, put together and arranged the furniture, and I bought a few frames and a painting, all of which have yet to be hung.
I'm currently scouring the internet looking for bedding that I like to no avail. :-/

I can finally start on ours next week and I'm dying in excitement. We've had a tenant living in that room but he has to be out by the 1st.
I have the paint and furniture picked out, as well as most of the decor. Our bedroom is starting to look like a storage unit with all the baby things we have bought/received and had nowhere to put.
Re: Nursery :)
Like @Slaps said, whenever you like.
