AW: 24wk High Risk u/s & apt *PIC ADDED

I went for my last high risk apt to check baby's heart this morning.  My DD was born with a VSD which is a hole between heart chambers so I opted for the early screening for this one since DD's was a shock.  (thankfully she's 100% not affected by it and doc cleared to do whatever!)  Everything was great for DD #2 that I saw!  No obvious mixture, although we won't know if she has on as small as DD does until she's born but it was a relief to know she had nothing big.

Lil girl was sleeping during the scan but at the end I got to see her face and she yawned!! OMG, it was tooo freakin adorable!!!!  Tech missed catching it but I'm gonna try to scan the 2 snaps I did get to share. :)

My other great news was at my regualr 24wk checkup after the high risk, I only gained 1lb since my last visit!!! Ya-hooo!!!  That's only 10lbs so far!!  Of course I want to celebrate now by having something deep-fried and Mexican...

    Congrats on the great appointment! I had to have the fetal echocardiogram this time because I'm type II on Thursday last week, and my appointment went great as well. Glad your little one's heart is all good.

    I had gained 1.4 pounds as well (after losing almost 10 pounds since the beginning of my pregnancy), so this is the first time I've actually gained anything. I'm still down a total of 8 pounds, so I guess that means I get 23 pounds net if I want between here and the end of the pregnancy? :D  When I delivered both girls I was down about 20 pounds from my prepregnancy weight, so it seems like I'm on track for the same this time.
