I don't know the exact procedure but a lawyer was a good start! That's incredibly shady and I completely understand why you're angry. First I'd like to know how she was able to put any one down as the father without an acknowledgement of paternity and/or being married. Next you need to.schedule a paternity test asap.because right now he's legally responsible for the child even though it's not his and then BF should file for.his name to be removed, fraud (And identity theft depending on what information she put down ie BFs SSN) against her and request the she pay for ALL of the attorneys fees and court costs BF incurs. Just know that it will probably be lengthy because that's typically how court works but more than worth the time it takes especially in this situation. I'm sorry you're dealing with something like this.
