Day care is closed this week so I'm home with A today. He slept in pretty well so I took a shower and got ready before he even got up so I could surprise him with a trip to the trampoline park. When he got him, I excitedly asked him "Do you want to go jump on the trampolines at the trampoline park?" He thought for a few seconds and, matching my excitement, said "No! I want to go to the library and see the bus, and the fire truck and the computers and trains!" Granted, our library is pretty cool but, um, wtf, the library over the trampoline park? I admit, I was really pumped for a morning of trampolining so I told him we'd do both. We got to the trampoline park and he was so devastated that it was not the library that we ended up skipping it and going, you guessed it, to the library. And he had an awesome time, of course. Nerd. :)

    I know! It's totally me that's sad about missing the park. It's a lot of fun and great exercise!

    @eyenigh if you allow screen time for your LO I would highly recommend the Mighty Machine videos on you tube. Ds is obsessed with them. :) Ds really only gets screen time on the iPad while I shower and we found these and he loves them.
    This, and Storybots! DD loved those videos!
